ASEAN Council Bahrain, headed by Sheikh Daij bin Isa Al Khalifa, discusses developing economic and cultural relations with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Kingdom of Bahrain

Mr. Nabil Ajoor, Deputy Vice President of the ASEAN Council in Bahrain, attended the ceremony held by
the Embassy and the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of ASEAN in Bahrain, H.E.
Ardi Hermawan, at his home located in the Saar region in the Kingdom of Bahrain on Wednesday,
August 30, 2023, on behalf of Sheikh Daij bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Council. On the occasion of
the fifty-sixth anniversary of the founding of the ten ASEAN countries, namely Indonesia, the Philippines,
Brunei, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar, under the patronage of
His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
the ambassadors of the ASEAN countries accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain, members of the ASEAN
Council of Bahrain and a number of invitees
