Under the esteemed patronage and in the presence of His Excellency Ali Bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, the Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) held the Bahrain Digital Content Award (BDC Award) distribution ceremony this morning at the Gulf Convention Center.
The event was organized in partnership with WorkSmart Events Management Company and sponsored by BENEFIT Bahrain, Atyaf eSolutions, BCFC, Gulf Future Business Company, ThinkSmart, Etisalcom, in addition to B4BH as the exclusive media partner.
The ceremony was attended by a diverse array of leaders and innovators in the fields of digital entrepreneurship and innovation. A total of 28 national digital projects were honored across eight categories: Government & Citizen Engagement, Health & Well Being, Learning & Education, Environment & Green Energy, Culture & Heritage, Smart Settlements & Urbanization, Business & Commerce, and Inclusion & Empowerment.
The Bahrain Digital Content Award is the most prestigious recognition of its kind at the local level. It aims to showcase the significant strides the Kingdom of Bahrain has made in developing digital content, advancing ICT, and supporting global digitization trends.
The award underscores the competitiveness of all sectors in creating innovative and sustainable solutions for digital transformation, while fostering creativity in developing electronic content across both government and private institutions.
